Kat to appear at Democracy Unplugged's Presidential Alternatives Forum

Two days after two extremely well-financed, high-profile candidates faced off at the Constitution Center, a selection of candidates with sparser budgets and less exposure, yet with dedicated supporters and vital issues, will speak at the second Democracy Unplugged 2008 Presidential Forum at Swarthmore Borough Hall, 121 Park Avenue, Swarthmore, PA. The forum will be held at 7:30 pm Friday, April 18th. The format will consist of short opening statements followed by some time when anyone may ask questions. Refreshments will be available and donations will be accepted.

The scheduled presenters are:

Green Party

Kent Mesplay (CA) Kat Swift (TX) Jesse Johnson (WV) Cynthia McKinney (CA), not yet confirmed

Party of Socialism and Liberation

Eugene Puryear (DC), Vice-Presidential candidate will speak for Gloria LaRiva (CA)

Socialist Party USA

Dr. Chris McDonald-Dennis will speak for Brian Moore (FL)

Socialist Workers Party

Roger Calero (NY), not yet confirmed

Although the Science Debate has had to fold its tent due to lack of response from the few overexposed candidates invited to it, the Democracy Unplugged forum is proceeding as planned. Don't miss this unique opportunity to interact with presidential candidates who aren't bankrolled by Globocorp.
